The event saw participation from innovators 50 countries and regions from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>The project titled \u201cExploring Human\u2019s Decision Making in Tsunami Disaster Evacuation using Virtual Reality,\u201d by Assoc. Prof. Natt Leelawat, D.Eng. (Associate Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering, Chula Engineering), Dr. Jing Tang (Lecturer, International School of Engineering (ISE), Chula Engineering), Mr. Kao Jongsaratis and Mr. Thachapong Chumpasiri (Undergraduate students, Department of Industrial Engineering, Chula Engineering), and Mr. Nattapon Trumikaborworn (Ph.D. student, Asian Institute of Technology), won the Gold Medal at iCAN 2024. Additionally, this innovative project received the TISIAS Special Award from the Toronto International Society of Innovation &amp; Advanced Skills, and the TUMMIAD Special Award from the Turkish
