The meeting was conducted at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, with the support from the Center of Excellence in Disaster and Risk Management Information Systems of Chulalongkorn University (under the lead of Assoc. Prof. Natt Leelawat, D.Eng.).<\/p>\n<p>The meeting features researchers from both Japanese and Thai institutions. From Japan, the participating experts include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prof. Yoshihisa Maruyama \u2013 Chiba University<\/li>\n<li>Assoc. Prof. Gaku Shoji \u2013 University of Tsukuba<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Masashi Matsuoka \u2013 Institute of Science Tokyo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Thai research team from EARTH comprises leading experts from top universities, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prof. Dr. Pennung Warnitchai \u2013 Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Director of EARTH<\/li>\n<li>Asst. Prof. Dr. Panon Latcharote \u2013 Mahidol University (MU)<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Dr. Sutat Leelataviwat \u2013 King Mongkut\u2019s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT)<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Dr. Nakhorn Poovarodom \u2013 Thammasat University (TU)<\/li>\n<li>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teraphan Ornthammarath \u2013 Mahidol University (MU)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The meeting is expected to foster technical knowledge exchange, assess disaster impacts, and promote cross-border collaboration in seismic risk mitigation and preparedness. It reflects the growing importance of international scientific partnerships in addressing complex natural hazards in Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The Center of Excellence in Disaster and Risk Management Information Systems and the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, supported resilience in terms of research and development of the
