On <\/strong>October 14, 2025<\/strong>, two distinguished faculty members from Chulalongkorn University\u2019s Faculty of Engineering were invited to speak at the 13th Safety Science Forum<\/strong>, hosted by the School of Safety Science, Tsinghua University<\/strong>, in Beijing, China.<\/p>\n

Associate Professor Witaya Wannasupoprasit, Ph.D.<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Associate Professor Natt Leelawat, D.Eng.<\/strong>, Head of the Center of Excellence in Disaster and Risk Management Information Systems and Associate Professor in Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, represented Chula Engineering at the prestigious event.<\/p>\n

Assoc. Prof. Natt Leelawat<\/strong> delivered a presentation on the 2025 Myanmar Earthquake and its impacts on Thailand<\/strong>. He also introduced the research initiatives of the Center of Excellence in Disaster and Risk Management Information Systems<\/strong>, emphasizing its role in advancing disaster resilience through data-driven risk management and international cooperation.<\/p>\n
