The competition attracted 802 applications from 62 countries and regions.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Natt Leelawat, D.Eng., Mr. Isoon Chanchongkham, Mr. Prarunchai Ruttanaprasert, Mr. Teerawat Riensuwon, Mr. Maykey Mekworawuth, Mr. Tanadeach Oumimpuech, and Mr. Pithawat Komolpis from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University; and Dr. Jing Tang from the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (CSII), for winning 2 Gold Medals and 4 Special Awards.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-8639 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ienext.eng.chula.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/12112025-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"922\" height=\"519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ienext.eng.chula.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/12112025-1.jpg 1430w, https:\/\/ienext.eng.chula.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/12112025-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ienext.eng.chula.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/12112025-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ienext.eng.chula.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/12112025-1-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 922px) 100vw, 922px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The project titled \u201cBuilding Fire Evacuation Strategy Improvement using Agent-Based Simulation,\u201d by Assoc. Prof. Natt Leelawat, D.Eng. (Associate Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering, Chula Engineering), Dr. Jing Tang (Lecturer, CSII), Mr. Isoon Chanchongkham, Mr. Prarunchai Ruttanaprasert, and Mr. Teerawat Riensuwon (Students, Department of Industrial Engineering, Chula Engineering), won the Gold Medal at iCAN 2025. Additionally, this project received the TISIAS Special Award from the Toronto International Society of Innovation &amp; Advanced Skills, and the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Romania, Special Award. Prof. Natt Leelawat, D.Eng. (Associate Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering, Chula Engineering), Mr. Maykey Mekworawuth, Mr. Tanadeach Oumimpuech, and Mr. Pithawat Komolpis (Undergraduate students, Department of Industrial Engineering, Chula Engineering), won the Gold Medal at iCAN 2025. Additionally, this project received the TISIAS Special Award from the Toronto International Society of Innovation &amp; Advanced Skills and the First Institute of Inventors and Researchers in I.R. IRAN (FIRI)\u00a0International Special Award.
