About the Program
The Department of Industrial Engineering has offered the Master of Engineering Program in Industrial Engineering for more than 20 years. The curriculum has been continuously developed and revised to respond to the evolving needs of society.
The Department has produced highly qualified graduates who work as industrial engineers in both manufacturing and service sectors. Graduates are equipped to perform work related to:
• Supply chain planning;
• Quality engineering;
• System and process design;
• System and process improvement;
• Production quality improvement;
• Service delivery improvement;
• Productivity and efficiency enhancement;
• Occupational safety; and
• Research and academic development
Students develop their knowledge and professional competencies through classroom instruction, visits to actual industrial establishments, practical learning activities, and thesis research.
Program Fees
Regular Program
Classes are normally conducted during regular working days and hours.
• Application fee: THB 500
• Tuition fee: THB 33,500 per semester
Special Program
Classes are normally conducted outside regular working hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Application fee: THB 600
• Tuition fee: THB 33,500 per semester
• Additional program fee: THB 30,000 per semester
Program Documents
In addition to classes conducted during regular working days and hours, the Department of Industrial Engineering also offers classes on Saturdays and Sundays. This option is intended for students who wish to enhance their knowledge and professional capabilities while continuing to work.
Students in both the regular and special programs are educated according to the same academic standards and are subject to the same graduation requirements.
The program offers two study plans.
Plan A1: Thesis Plan
This plan is suitable for applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
Students conduct full-time research with the objective of producing high-quality research outcomes. The expected duration of study is approximately one year.
Students may enroll in additional courses according to their interests, but coursework is not compulsory under this plan.

Plan A2: Coursework and Thesis Plan
This plan is suitable for applicants who hold:
• A Bachelor of Engineering degree in any engineering discipline;
• A Bachelor of Science degree;
• A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree; or
• A bachelor’s degree in another related discipline.
Students must complete two required courses, six elective courses, and a thesis.
The expected duration of study is approximately two years.

• 2104697 System Modeling and Analysis — 3 credits
Elective Courses
Students must complete six elective courses. Each course carries three credits, resulting in a total of 18 elective-course credits.
Thesis

Application Information

Applicants should carefully review the application instructions and complete the application process in accordance with the requirements specified by the Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University.
Required Application Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
1. A completed application form with a recent photograph;
2. One copy of the applicant’s degree certificate;
3. One copy of the applicant’s undergraduate academic transcript;
4. One copy of the applicant’s national identification card or other accepted identification document; and
5. One copy of an accepted English-language proficiency test result.
Applicants should also present the original English-language proficiency test result for verification when required.
English-Language Proficiency Requirements
Applicants must obtain at least one of the following minimum scores:

English-language proficiency test results are valid for two years from the test date.
Application Submission
After completing the online application, applicants must print the application form and submit it together with all required supporting documents to the Graduate School by post.
For postal submissions, the postmark date must be no later than one day after the final application deadline specified for postal applications.
Applicants should consult the official admission calendar issued by the Graduate School for the applicable application periods, examination dates, interview dates, and announcement of admission results.
