abstract = {The learning management system (LMS) is an information and communication technology (ICT) that helps to improve efficiency of learning activities especially on higher education. Moreover, it becomes necessary for the transformation of education through digital format and virtual learning environments. The well-designed LMS interface will enrich the effectiveness of pedagogy. The myCourseVille is a LMS that use in many universities in Thailand to support teachers and students to manage their class activities. However, the problems of improper interface and complexness of using myCourseVille were also reported from end-users. While, the successful of LMS adoption and user satisfaction depend on the ease of use and user friendly interface of the system. In order to improve quality of myCourseVille and enhance user satisfaction, the details and root cause of interface problems were tested and identified. Thus, the purpose of present study was to identify the major concerned interface issues of myCourseVille by using usability evaluation method associated with five usability attributes on student’s interface and teacher’s interface. The implication of this study could be used as a guideline for LMS software developer to improve the basic features of the system and quality of user interface in term of usability. © Springer International Publishing AG 2018.},

abstract = {Consideration of designing an emotional warning pictorial on cigarette labels which will be used in public place, the effect from gender differences should be concerned. The aim of this study was to examine gender differences in emotional response from warning pictorials on cigarette labels. Sixty engineering students participated in this study. Half of them are males. Neutral affect manipulation using IAPS was conducted prior the experiments. Participants were asked to rate their emotional responses from sixty warning pictorials (positive, neutral, negative). Results revealed that both male and female participants could perceive target emotional affective warning pictorials, although there were some differences. Male participants perceived greater arousal than female participants which contradicts to previous study. Implications for affective warning pictorial design concerning gender difference.},

abstract = {The library website plays an important role in the support of people's information literacy by allowing them to efficiently access the information. The user-friendliness and usability of userinterface of the library website would enhance the information searching process. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the usability of a library website using an eye-tracking device. A usability test was conducted on 7 activity tasks with the assessment of effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction together with Tobii Pro X2-30 eye-tracker to evaluate the usability according to ISO 9241-11:1998. A think-aloud protocol was used during the test. Both qualitative and quantitative results were analyzed. The results from the quantitative analysis revealed that. The interface of all the tasks should be redesigned, especially for Task 2 (Search Thai journals and export to email) where almost no one could complete this task. Then, the results from the qualitative usability evaluation using the eye-tracking device and think-aloud technique provided some guidelines for the improvement of the usability of the library website. © 2017 Association for Computing Machinery.},

abstract = {The purpose of present study were to design and validate affective warning pictorials for cigarette label in Thailand. Brainstorming and survey techniques were used to collect the idea of possible warning pictorials. All ideas were grouped for finding candidated pictorials. Then, primary sixty warning pictorials were collected and equally classified into three affective warning pictorial groups as positive, neutral, and negative. Sixty Thai male engineering students participated in affective validation of warning pictorials using SAM rating. The International Affective Picture System (IAPS) was used to manipulate the affective state of participants to neutral affective state before the experiments. The results revealed that all affective warning pictorials were successfully evoked target affective states on participants. After refining, thirty affective warning pictorials were provided as positive, neutral, and negative affective warning pictorials for using on cigarette labels. Usability test is not only to identify the problem but also separate the high concerned problem. If the design does not follow usability guidelines or user-center design methodology during development and implementation, the application will create the complexness. In order to improve the quality of mobile application, usability test, the effective technique for product evaluation was focused in this research. The results showed several usability issues which mainly caused by the icon design or difficult vocabulary used in menu.},

The International Affective Picture System (IAPS) was used to manipulate the affective states of sixty male undergraduate and graduate student participants. We used sixteen standard industrial warning pictorials, which were representative of a variety of industries, to assess changes in comprehension and hazard perception. Participants in the positive affect condition perceived greater hazards from the warning signs than those in the neutral affect condition or the negative affect condition. Post-hoc analyses confirmed this finding. We discuss implications for warning pictorials and future research. 2013 Elsevier Ltd and The Ergonomics Society.},

abstract = {Affective management is a new idea of decision-making in management which has a sense beyond conventional management by giving value to both people's affect and conventional numerical and rational indices. In psychology, affect is referred to emotion, feeling, and mood. Moreover, benefits of positive affect tend to give advantages to all stakeholders and to organization itself. Thus, the purpose of this study was to develop a measurement for affective management. The interviews of top management were done resulting to 15 dimensions of affective management measurement. Also, four stakeholders, customer, employee, local community, and society, have been taken into consideration. The conclusion and future work were provided. © 2011 IEEE.},
